¶ A Citizens' Hearing

A Citizens' Hearing is the name of an event held in Toronto, Ontario. It was a joint in-person/live streamed conference that took place from June 22-24, 2022 at Vantage Venues.[1] It was one of several events that preceded the formation of the National Citizens Inquiry (NCI).[2]
It was modelled after similar independent hearings held in the United States by Senator Ron Johnson and in Australia by Senator Malcolm Roberts.[3][4][5]
A report summarizing the event and its key proceedings was published in January 2023, authored by Liam Sturgess.[3:1]
¶ Participants
The hearing was organized by the Canadian Covid Care Alliance in partnership with the Canadian Adverse Event Reporting System (CAERS), Fearless Canada, United Health Care Workers of Ontario and the Frontier Centre for Public Policy, among others.
A Citizens' Hearing was funded by a grant from the Institute for Freedom and Justice (IFJ) and the Canadian Covid Care Alliance.
