The AB Covid Records Verifier is a Canadian vaccine passport application developed by the Alberta Ministry of Health. It operates on the SMART Health Card framework.[1][2]
Alberta Premier Jason Kenney and Health Minister Jason Copping announced the launch of the AB Covid Records Verifier application in October 2021 as a way for "Albertans to easily show their vaccine record."[3] At the time it was launched, it was not yet compatible with the SMART Health Card framework mandated by the Government of Canada.[4]
