Cardiac arrest is a known adverse event associated with COVID-19 vaccines.[1]
A study published on April 28, 2022 in Scientific Reports found that "there was an increase in emergency cardiovascular events among the under-40 population in Israel during the vaccine rollout and the third wave of COVID-19."[2][3]
On May 30, 2023, attorney Ori Shabi filed a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request to Clahit Health Services for records related to diagnoses of cardiac arrest in Israel.[4] The resulting data revealed that cardiac arrest diagnoses nearly doubled from 2020 to 2021, and more than doubled from 2021 to 2022.[3:1]
Two people suffered cardiac arrest during an Ed Sheeran concert at Acrisure Stadium on July 8, 2023. One was a stadium worker, who "took unwell when they were tearing down the setup inside the stadium" before "they went into cardiac arrest on the floor." The other was a "paramedic from an outside agency" who "also went into cardiac arrest... while leaving the venue."[5]
