The Independent Media Alliance (IMA) is a news media initiative described as "a collaborative effort focused on promoting objective, fact-based media from a diverse team of journalists, podcasters, and writers."[1] It was created by Ryan Cristián of The Last American Vagabond (TLAV), Whitney Webb of Unlimited Hangout, and Derrick Broze of the Conscious Resistance Network, and is partnered with Odysee.[1:1][2]

The IMA was announced on September 16, 2024 via a press release on the TLAV website.[1:2]
