Rising Pharmaceuticals is an American pharmaceutical company based in East Brunswick, New Jersey.
On March 20, 2020, Rising Pharmaceuticals announced it would be lowering prices on the hydroxychloroquine it manufactured as well as donating 1 million doses “between March and April to areas of greatest need through participating distributors and government agencies.”[1] The company also donated doses of the drug for use in the first randomized control trial (RCT) evaluating use of HCQ in treating COVID-19, led by David Boulware.[2]
