Vivek Ganapathy Ramaswamy is an American entrepreneur and political candidate. His brother is Shankar Ramaswamy, founder of Kriya Therapeutics.[1]
In 2011, Ramaswamy was awarded a post-graduate fellowship by the Paul & Daisy Soros Fellowships for New Americans.[2][3]
Ramaswamy founded Roivant Sciences, incorporated April 7, 2014 in Bermuda.[4][5]
In January 2015, Ramaswamy was named Chairman of Tekmira Pharmaceuticals after it merged with OnCore Biopharma.[6][7]
Ramaswamy stepped down as CEO of Roivant in January 2021.[8]
Ramaswamy has appeared as a guest on The Roundtable Show.[9]
Ramaswamy co-founded Strive Asset Management with Anson Frericks in 2022.[10] The firm launched on May 9, 2022.[11]
As of the end of 2022, Ramaswamy reportedly owned 10.9% of Roivant Sciences.[12] On February 21, 2023, Roivant announced that Ramaswamy had stepped down from the company's board of directors in order to focus on his presidential campaign.[4:1]
