Becton, Dickinson and Company, also known as Becton Dickinson or BD, is an American multinational medical technology company based in Franklin Lakes, New Jersey. It offers products and services in diagnostics and the delivery of care.[1]
In March 2020, BD joined on as a financial supporter of the COVID-19 Therapeutics Accelerator.[2]
BD offers rapid antigen testing products to detect SARS-CoV-2 called BD Veritor™.[3] Kits containing the BD Veritor™ tests were distributed to members of the public for at-home use by the British Columbia Centre for Disease Control via the Vancouver Coastal Health Authority.[4]
BD has been a client of 3H Communications[5] and Glover Park Group.[6] BD is a member of Advanced Medical Technology Association (AdvaMed)[7] and Research!America.[8]
