Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada (ISED) is a department of the Government of Canada.
On August 5, 2020, Minister of Innovation, Science and Industry Navdeep Bains announced the membership of the COVID-19 Therapeutics Task Force and COVID-19 Vaccine Task Force.[1]
On February 2, 2021, ISED signed a memorandum of understanding with Novavax to produce its COVID-19 vaccine candidate at National Research Council Canada's Biologics Manufacturing Centre.[2]
