Strategic Social was an American intelligence and communications firm based in Los Gatos, California, Arlington, Virginia and Washington, D.C. It also operated regional offices in Kabul and Kandahar, Afghanistan, as well as Basra and Baghdad, Iraq.[1][2] The firm developed communication and engagement campaigns across Africa, the Middle East, the Maghreb, and Afghanistan, across print, radio, television and online.[3]
Strategic Social was founded in 2009.[2:1] It was acquired by Constellis Group on March 5, 2014,[4] and merged with a number of other private military contractor companies in June 2014 under the Constellis Holdings banner.[5]
