Global Shapers Calgary, also known as Calgary Hub, Calgary Shapers or YYC Shapers, is a Canadian not-for-profit organization based in Calgary, Alberta. It is a chapter of the Global Shapers Community, an initiative of the World Economic Forum.[1]
The group's activities center around four pillars: Climate Action, Future Cities, Civic Life, and Healthy Cities.
Beginning in April 2021, the Calgary Shapers supported 19 to Zero by hosting town hall sessions on COVID-19 vaccines.[2]
In September 2021, the group published a report authored by Hannah Rahim and Christian Ladores discussing the mental health situation in Calgary with input from the Canadian Mental Health Association and Catholic Family Service.[3]
