The Alliance for a Stronger FDA is an American lobbying organization based in Silver Spring, Maryland. It is an industry association that represents the voice of the pharmaceutical industry, both to the government and general public.
One of the Alliance’s primary activities is lobbying the United States Congress to increase the annual budget for the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Between 2019-2021, the Alliance spent some $855,000 on its lobbying activities.[1]
AstraZeneca was a founding member of the Alliance.[2]
