The American Association for Cancer Research (AACR) is an American nonprofit organization based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Its sister organization is the American Association for Cancer Research Foundation.[1]
Pamela Ohashi, AACR's Tumor Immunotherapy Program director, participated in the COVID-19 Therapeutics Task Force convened by Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada (ISED).[2]
In the first half of 2021, AACR received four grants from Pfizer:[3]
AACR is a member organization of the Alliance for a Stronger FDA[4] and a partner of the Society for Immunotherapy of Cancer.[5] It has previously provided funding to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.[6]
AACR has signed memoranda of understanding with the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).[7]
