Boston Consulting Group (BCG) is an American consulting firm based in Boston, Massachusetts.
In July 2016, BCG partnered with the World Economic Forum (WEF) to launch the Value in Healthcare Project, running until 2018.[1]
BCG donated between $500,000 - $999,999 to Habitat for Humanity in 2017.[2]
The Value in Healthcare Project led to the creation of the Global Coalition for Value in Healthcare, which launched in January 2019 at the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting 2019 in Davos, Switzerland.[3][1:1]
In September 2019, BCG entered a multi-year agreement with the State of New York.[4]
BCG's contract with New York was adjusted following the declaration of the COVID-19 pandemic, leading to the firm providing services related to the State's pandemic response. This included the development of the Excelsior Pass alongside IBM and Deloitte.[4:1]
In Canada, BCG participated in the Faster Together campaign to promote COVID-19 vaccines,[5] as well as the similar This Is Our Shot campaign.[6]
