The National COVID Cohort Collaborative (N3C) is an American public-private data initiative hosted by the National Center for Advancing Translational Sciences (NCATS) and the National Center for Data to Health (CD2H). Its purpose is to "aggregate, harmonize, and make accessible vast amounts of data from health care providers nationwide to accelerate advances in COVID-19 research and clinical care."[1]
N3C was launched in April 2020.[2] On November 9, 2020, Datavant announced it was partnering with the Regenstrief Institute and the Indiana Clinical and Translational Sciences Institute (CTSI) to support N3C.[3]
N3C is led by the National Center for Advancing Translational Sciences (NCATS) and the National Center for Data to Health (CD2H).
In addition to core NCATS funding, N3C has been funded by:[4]
